Aboriginal Tourism & Sundre

May 1, 2017

As discussed at the AGM. The promised video showcasing Aboriginal Tourism in Alberta. www.aboriginalcanada.ca shares that there are 48 First Nations and over 85,000 Metis people in Alberta. Distinct and diverse, the aboriginal community plays a part in shaping the social, cultural and economic blueprint of this province. Does Sundre have a part to play in Aboriginal Tourism?

The Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada (ATAC) was formally established as a national non-profit Aboriginal tourism industry organization. Today, ATAC includes representation from 15 Aboriginal tourism industry representatives and organizations. Through a unified Aboriginal tourism industry voice, ATAC focuses on creating partnerships between associations, organizations, government departments and industry leaders from across Canada to support the growth of Aboriginal tourism in Canada. *Site Source: www.aboriginalcanada.ca
