Chamber pleased with riverbank funding

The Sundre & District Chamber of Commerce was very pleased with the Alberta Government’s announcement for funding of repairs to the west side riverbank in Sundre. The $2.4 million grant will allow construction to begin to repair and armour the west bank of the Red Deer River in Sundre. This will follow the earlier engineering report that provided several solutions to prevent continued erosion of the bank which threatened the Riverside RV park and the water and waste-water services in the area.
